My name is Kehmak. I make rap music. I'm pretty good at it. I'm 19 years old. I like long walks on the beach.

When did you get into hip hop?
Started writing at about 14. Started making tracks at about 16.

Who are your influences?
Many hip hop artists have influenced me, from Jay-Z to Blackalicious to Atmosphere. Theres so many people doin' good music out there, the list would go on and on.

 


What are your thoughts on the London hip hop scene?
Its growin' fast, we gotta lotta cats doin there thing and making shit happen. I think Shad proved that its possible for someone livin' here to make movements. Theres a few bitch emcees in London right now, you know who you are, but other than that its all fam.

Ever lived anywhere else? What was it like there?
Nah grew up in London my whole life. I once went to Port Stanley when I was a kid though.

Any story behind your name?
Kehmak was my nickname before i started rappin' so I just stuck with it. Kyle McIntyre=Kehmak...not very complicated.

Tell us a story here:
There was dog walking cross a train track, as the train was comming, and its tail got stuck. It could have stayed where it was and simply lost a peice of its tail. Instead it tried desperatly to knaw it out with his mouth. The train came down the track and smoked the bitch. Moral of the story...never lose your head over a peice of tail. Thank you.
