Illusion
Illusion is from North Bay but now lives in London. Some of you may have seen him rocking the mic at Christina's Pub.
How did you get started?
It all started in North Bay, Ontario where I was born. A very small community
but a lot of Underground Heads. It all started off with an interest in Break Dancing. That's how I met my Boy Q-Menace we would go out throw some cardboard down for awhile when it got dark go throw up some tags. From there it progressed into writing songs and ripping open mics.
Who are your influences?
My main influences would have to be Sage Francis, Slug, and Necro I know that sounds odd to have those 3 names in the same sentence but they
are defently my biggest influences. I also have many influences that aren't hip-hop such as System Of A Down, Deftones, Rage Against The Machine.
What do you think fo the London hip hop scene?
The London Hip-Hop scene is awesome. I just moved here 4 months ago have only done 1 show here and you guys showed me alot of love. I'm looking forward to doing more shows and hearing more local artists.

Any stories about a show you did?
In the Month of June I was lucky enough to hook up 3 shows 1 in London with Sound Minds and Absent Minds, another show in Barrie with the Net Prophets and Damien, then to end it off to my home town of North Bay to do a show with Q-Menace and Classified. I must say there is nothing like a home town crowd I hope I can build the same type of fan base here
Do you have an album in the works?
I have a 14 track album out now that you can buy the price is $10. I must say the production of my album is phenomenal with with all the beats coming from Jaks and Dj Elite they are masterminds.
