How did you get started?
I was handed a Shiggar Fraggar Cd back in 1999. That changed my life.
Who are your influences?
ISP, Shadow, Atrak, George Martin, Wayne Gretzky
What do you think of the london hip hop scene?
I am very green to the scene..I feel my newness to London gives me an unbiased aproach as to where the skills lie.. I must say London is FULL of talent. Maybe if we had a couple of spots..
Any story behind your name?
I went to military school in Indiana. We used to add 'Nutz' to the end of peoples names. It was to razz them in general but after I thought that 'b' nutz sounded right..So im basically razzing myself.
Any stories about a show you did?
Before anyone would give my thier bar to play, I did my cousins Stag and Doe. It was completely under the table and in a drive shed in the country. They made at least 10000 and I got paid about 500 bucks (maybe). After I played the worst possible crowd, quit 2x, contiuned playing till 5:30, I had to sleep with my gear to make sure it didnt walk off. So happy I get to play nice gigs now. (for the record my cousin is the shit and he just prob didnt realize the seriousness of the situation..im rambling now)
Is there an album in the works?
I have been working on themed mixtapes forever. Halloweena and Christmas are esp. fun for me. I have cuts Ive laid down for the new Toolshed album but im probably too late with them so they might end up super Bnutz edits. Ive been a slave to my mpc lately. Im sure ill come up with something.
Anything you want to add?
Im still playing here and there with Fritz tha Cat (OK Cobra) including a great slot to open for Schoolly D at the Knitting Factory in NYC.
Besides running HipHop, Electro, Funk and House @ 'Awesome Thursday' every week at the Alex P Keaton with DJ Freek, I play once a month at Pandemic nightclub for a new monthly Friday club night called MTHRFCKRS with very talented Mark the Mechanic.
Whats your favourite breakfast cereal?
Im very much a Cocoa Krispies kind of guy.. I think they are USA only??
